Reception

Our new reception area is large and light and has plenty of room for your pets. We have a separate dog and cat section with a television to keep you entertained while you wait. We also have a kids corner to keep them entertained while you wait!

There is a range of super premium pet foods available as well as collars, leads and toys for your cats, dogs and birds.

You are welcome to drop in and use the scales to weigh your pet at any time.

Consult Room

We now have 2 consultation rooms available. Nurses staff the second room and perform all nail clipping, post operation checks, administer Proheart injections, do stitch removals and perform discharge appointments.

This helps minimise waiting times for you and your pets. 

Surgical Theatre

This is where we perform all of our surgical procedures. The room is large and light which is important. 

The surgery room is fully equipped including:

• human surgical table that is completely adjustable. 
• isoflurane anaesthetic machine (the safest gas anaesthetic available to pets at this stage).
• Xray viewer so that we can refer to Xrays during orthopaedic procedures .
• Patient monitor which records your pet's heart rate, blood oxygen levels, blood pressure, body temperature and heart electrical activity while they are under anaesthetic. 

In addition to the electrical monitoring equipment, we have a nurse dedicated to every anaesthetic patient until your pet is completely recovered.

We pride ourselves in ensuring your pet gets the best of care while having an anaesthetic and surgery.

X-ray room

We have recently purchased a brand new Xray machine to improve the quality of our Xrays and minimise the time it takes to get a series of Xrays. We have an automatic Xray processor which also improves quality of the Xrays and decreases the time it takes for the Xrays to be processed.

Prep Room

This is where we perform short procedures like blood tests, dentals, wound management and endoscopic procedures. This is also where we anaethetise your pets and prepare them for surgery. 

We move them into the theatre once they have been clipped and the surgical region scrubbed so as to keep the theatre as clean and sterile as possible.

Hospital Room

This is one of our rooms to house your pets for the day. We have a second room available so that we can keep dogs and cats separate if needed. Your pets have heating pads in their cages to assist them in a comfortable recovery after surgery.

All rooms have heating and air-conditioning if required and they are next to our main work areas so we can keep an eye on your pets all day.

Hydrobath

Call in at any time during our opening hours to use the self service hydrobath. 

With warm water and massage jets, this is a great way to clean your pet without hurting your back and staying dry!
